Who is responsible for your information?

Jane Morgan, trading as Cotswold Coaching, is responsible for the personal information described in this privacy notice.

Information you provide

When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address and the contents of your message.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss coaching services where requested, and manage our correspondence with you.

Our lawful basis

We process information submitted through the contact form because it is necessary to respond to your request and, where you are asking about coaching services, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Where correspondence does not relate to entering into a contract, we may process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and administering the coaching business.

Website analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how this website is used and improve its content, usability and performance. We do not use analytics for advertising, behavioural profiling or to identify individual visitors.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregate information about website traffic and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed without cookies or persistent identifiers for tracking individual visitors.

Anonymous interaction statistics

We also record a small number of anonymous website interactions to understand how useful particular features are. These include when a journal article is shared, when a consultation link is selected and when the website confirms that a contact form has been submitted successfully.

These records may contain the page, article, type of share action or general location of a consultation link within the website. They do not contain your name, email address, message, Turnstile verification token or a visitor or session identifier.

Your analytics choice

Anonymous analytics are enabled by default. You can object at any time using Analytics preferences. Turning analytics off prevents Cloudflare Web Analytics from loading and prevents the website from sending our anonymous interaction events from that browser.

Your choice is stored in your browser so that the website can remember it. This preference does not identify you.

Security and spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the website from automated abuse and spam. Information required for that security check is processed when you use the form.

Who processes information for us?

We use service providers to operate and protect the website and to deliver enquiries. These providers may process information on our behalf only as required to provide their services.

These services include Cloudflare for website hosting, security, Turnstile and website analytics. Our email delivery provider will also process contact-form information when an enquiry is sent.

International processing

Some of the service providers used to operate this website may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer is protected in accordance with UK data protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries and meeting any applicable legal or business record-keeping requirements.

Anonymous website analytics may be retained for longer because they are not intended to identify individual visitors.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights over your personal information. These can include asking for access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction of processing, and objecting to certain uses of your information.
